Originally from the small community of Quadra Island BC, mc, beat maker, writer, visual artist, and web TV host, Axiom now lives in Vancouver. Lyrically he combines legitimately intricate rhyme patterns, clear pronunciation and emphasis, obscure vocabulary rarely used in hip hop, assertive and heavy metaphor as well as many other poetic devices in pursuit of spiritual vibrational harmony. His main agenda within a stream-of-consciousness style delivery is to dissect the world around him in as critical a manner as possible. He always puts an emphasis on the significance of his subject whether he is being direct or overtly abstract.
It is Axiom's ability to go between strongly opinionated, completely objective, sympathetic and carefree, all seamlessly, that makes his music genuine. Sounding like, or acting like anyone but himself has never been an aspect of his art and it shows in the diversity and originality of the songs he has created. Past subject matter and themes in his lyrics have included: linguistics, ancient civilizations, planetary math, occultism, shamanism, police brutality, imperialism, religion, physics, psychic awareness, internal and external warfare, fractal math and much, much, more including your favourite hip hop cliches and all the wordplay you can handle. One half of Axhead (along with HeadSpace) and part of many previous and up and coming Hip Hop endeavours in his city, Axiom is out to create.
